A 40-Day Deep Clean From The Inside Out

There is more of your past than you realize in your present.

You cannot create a new life in a space still occupied by the old one.

“It's absolutely wonderful to have a daily practice, because most of us are very deeply in the world and we get lost very easily into the stuff of life. So, to have a daily practice that keeps reminding you and pulling you back and awakening again ; giving you a chance to look at what's happened and how you may have gotten lost the day before, to keep putting what's happening to you in the world back into perspective is very useful.”
— Ram Dass, Do We Need a Daily Practice? Teachings (Spoken 1989)
“Do not let sleep fall upon your eyes before you have twice reviewed all your actions of the day. Ask yourself: Where have I gone wrong? What have I achieved? What duty have I left undone? ... And in the morning, before your feet touch the bare earth, sit in silence and gaze at the rising sun, for it is the visual mirror of the divine spark within your own cranium.”
— The Golden Verses of Pythagoras, ~350 BCE
“The value of a daily practice lies in its ability to anchor us in the present moment, day after day, regardless of what we are going through or how we feel. It is a way of declaring to ourselves that our well-being is worth dedicating time to, an act of self-love that gradually changes the very structure of our minds and how we relate to the world.”
— Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn, Full Catastrophe Living: Using the Wisdom of Your Body and Mind to Face Stress, Pain, and Illness (Published 1990)
“We should adjust each day as if it were a separate life. ... When the light has been removed from my sight, and my wife has fallen silent, aware of this habit that is now mine, I examine my entire day and go back over what I have done and said, hiding nothing from myself, passing nothing by.”
— Seneca the Younger, On Anger (De Ira), 3.36, ~41–45 CE
“We don't sit in meditation to become good meditators. We sit in meditation so that we'll be more awake in our lives. The purpose of spiritual practice is not to create a beautiful, quiet shelter from the world. It is to develop the strength and the clarity of mind required to stand entirely undefended in the midst of chaos, and to remain open to the truth of whatever arises.”
— Pema Chödrön, The Wisdom of No Escape and the Path of Loving-Kindness (Published 1991)
“Undoubtedly, the mind is restless and difficult to restrain. But it can be brought under complete control, O son of Kunti, through constant daily practice (Abhyasa) and the cultivation of detachment (Vairagya).”
— The Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 6, Verse 35, ~200 BCE–200 CE
“To focus means to look past the surface static and to gather our scattered creative and spiritual power into a single, sharp beam. Practicing a regular, daily return to the quiet of the inner self is not an act of luxury or selfish withdrawal. It is the fundamental labor required to keep our instinctual nature alive, our boundaries intact, and our sovereign voice clear. ”
— Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Women Who Run with the Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype (Published 1992)
“People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills... There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own soul. So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself. Let your basic principles be brief and fundamental, the kind that will at once close out the world and send you back without any irritation to the life to which you must return.”
— Marcus Aurelius, Meditations, Book 4.3, ~170–180 CE
“We must establish a regular time and place for our practice, a sanctuary of stillness where we can return to our true nature. Without a regular discipline, our spiritual intentions remain vague wishes, easily swept away by the constant demands and distractions of our modern lives.”
— Jack Kornfield, A Path with Heart (Published 1993)
“Before you step into the marketplace, secure your soul with prayer. For if you do not offer the first hours of the day to the Spirit, the choking weeds of worldly cares will overgrow your heart before midday. ”
— Saint John Chrysostom, Homilies on the Statues, 387 CE
“The commitment to a daily practice is a way of declaring to ourselves that our lives, our minds, and our spiritual well-being are actually worth dedicating time to. It is a slow, steady process of training the heart. We do not look for immediate, dramatic miracles on the cushion; we practice so that over time, the moments of calm and inner freedom we cultivate in solitude begin to naturally bleed over into our actions, our work, and our relationships.”
— Sharon Salzberg, Lovingkindness: The Revolutionary Art of Happiness (Published 1995)
“Practice becomes firmly grounded only when it is pursued with a long-term perspective, remains completely uninterrupted, and is executed with deep devotion every single day.”
— The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, 1.14, ~400 CE
“Like all types of practice—from piano scales, to basketball drills, to ballroom dance class—spiritual practice requires discipline; it can be tedious; it is necessary. After you have practiced enough, you become more skilled at the art form itself. You do not practice to become a great scale player or drill champion. You practice to become a musician or athlete. Likewise, one does not practice meditation to become a great meditator. We meditate (or pray or work with a therapist or exercise the body, etc.) to wake up and live, to become skilled at the art of living. ”
— Elizabeth Lesser, The Seeker's Guide: Making Your Life a Sacred Journey (Published 1999)
“The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you. Don't go back to sleep. You must ask for what you really want. Don't go back to sleep.”
— Rumi, The Breeze at Dawn (Translated by Coleman Barks), ~1250–1273 CE
“A daily spiritual practice can take many forms. It could be ten minutes of meditation in the morning, a walk in the forest in the afternoon, or a few moments of silent reflection before going to sleep. The important thing is to make it a regular part of your routine. By setting aside time each day to connect with your inner self, you can cultivate a sense of inner peace, clarity, and purpose that will support you in all aspects of your life. ”
— Eckhart Tolle, Stillness Speaks (Published 2003)
“Success comes to the one who is actively engaged in practice. How can success come to one who does not practice? ”
— The Hatha Yoga Pradipika, 1.67 (Translated by Pancham Sinh, 1914), ~1400–1450 CE
“In the ambrosial hours of the early morning, meditate on the true Name, and contemplate the Divine Greatness.”
— Guru Nanak, Japji Sahib, Pauri 4, ~1500–1520 CE
“And he said, ‘Go out and stand on the mount before the Lord.’ And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore the mountains and broke in pieces the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. And after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire a sound of sheer silence.” It was in this silence that Elijah heard The Lord.
— 1 Kings 19:11–12, ~550 B.C.E.

A daily devotional practice is not a luxury.

It is essential.

For thousands of years, teachers of all backgrounds and cultures have taught the importance of a daily practice:

one that connects the individual with the Self and with Unity Consciousness.

The first written record of meditation practices is recorded in The Vedas (1500 BCE), yet historians suggest that meditative practices such as fire gazing were practiced in human tribes for up to 200,000 years before this.

This suggests that meditation is a practice deeply engrained in our physiology. It is natural for humans to connect with themselves, with Spirit, and with nature on a daily basis. It is not only nourishing for them to do so, it is an essential need.

Modern life is constantly fighting for our attention. As soon as the day begins, our energy is swept away by to-do lists, desires for success, and the pull of external validation. If we are not intentionally anchored into something, the world will easily carry us away into the waves of the chaos around us.

Do you ever find yourself asking...

When will I find the love I’ve been searching for?

Why do I feel so exhausted at the end of the day?

How is it so easy for everyone else, yet so challenging for me?

Why is it so hard for me to feel connection and love in my relationships?

Will life ever get better? When will this phase of misery end?

Why do I still feel anxious or depressed despite the beauty in my life?

Am I just broken? Why doesn’t anything seem to work for me?

Why is it so hard for me to know what is “right”? Why do I always second guess myself?

If you are wondering about why your life is the way that it is, when it will change, or what you can do to finally start experiencing life differently,

EXCAVATION is here to answer that question.

You will not experience a life of alignment without checking in with your Self and Spirit daily about what that alignment requires.

All of life requires consistent care to flourish.

Why are you watering your plants more consistently than you are watering your Self?

It’s time for a change, and this 40 day devotional practice will show you what’s possible when you show up for yourself day in and day out, without fail.

WHY NOW?

Winter is a season for allowing the death of what has died. If you try to bring what has died into your new year, then this year will look the same as all of the years before. There are daily rhythms, there are lunar rhythms, and there are annual rhythms.

The daily rhythm is for your daily practice.

The lunar rhythm is for the bleed of womb-bearers.

The annual rhythm is for the honoring of the seasons.

Even if you have a consistent daily practice, an annual deep clean is vital, because that’s the rhythm of the winter season.

Without the honoring of the death of winter,

the new life of spring cannot fully bloom.

There must be space in your garden if you want flowers to bloom from the seeds you have planted; otherwise you’ve simply tossed seeds onto depleted soil.

New love, new success, and new creativity cannot be experienced if there is no ground on which it can grow.

If you hold...

  • Fear in your body about there not being enough money, love, or resources...

  • Guilt in your gut for how you wish you'd shown up differently...

  • Shame that convinces you to shrink...

  • Real estate in your heart that is occupied by an old love...

  • Judgment that clouds your ability to claim what is yours...

  • Resistance to accepting the truth...

  • A wall separating you from connection to unity...

  • Any attachment that blocks your ability to receive what's new...

then there is not enough space within you for new

abundance, creativity, and love to take root.

Ever wonder why your desires, prayers, or manifestations haven’t come to form?

The lack of space in your life (physically and energetically) is the answer.

EXCAVATION is here to help you create space.

As we walk through the seven chakras, you will clear out unprocessed emotions, cleanse the energy of each energetic center, and purge your physical space.

By the end of our 40 days of devotion, your garden will be primed for the new blooms of spring to blossom.

The only question left to answer is this:

Do you want the fruits of your life this year to be the same as last year?

Or are you ready to experience something different, something more expansive, something more true to you and your beauty than you’ve ever witnessed before?,

FAQ

Was this the 40-Day Chakra Sadhana last year?

Yes. While the structure and intention are the same, the kriyas and assignments are updated and enhanced for 2027.

Is this for beginners?

This is for everyone at every phase of the journey. It is designed to be accessible to those with zero prior experience, and transformational for those who have years of experience too.

Is this only for spiritual people?

Not at all. This practice is for anyone who feels overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or ready for a reset. It’s emotional hygiene, not dogma.

Do I need experience with chakras or spirituality?

No. We guide you through everything.

This is for beginners and experienced practitioners alike.

What if I’m not sure I’ll stay consistent? Should I still do it?

Yes, especially if consistency has been a struggle. That’s exactly what the structure, community, and daily delivery are built to support.

What if I miss a day?

No problem. You can complete the practice anytime during the day. There is no punishment for missing a day.

Part of the power of this practice is showing up for yourself daily, but the goal is devotion, not perfection. If you miss any of the practices or assignments, focus on getting back on board instead of "making up" what you missed.

What if I don’t feel emotional?

Many people begin numb or disconnected. The daily consistency gently reconnects you to your emotional world and helps you build capacity to feel and process.

What if I'm super experienced? Is this right for me?

Everyone can use a deep energetic cleaning, even the experienced. This is a chance to break out of routine, reconnect to ritual, and create space for fresh breakthroughs.

How much does it cost?

$400, paid-in-full, or paid in four monthly installments

Can I do this with my partner, family, or friends?

Absolutely! We just ask that they register individually.

How long is each practice?

Each daily practice is 30 minutes, after which Jessica and Isaac will stay on for Q&A for another 30 minutes (you can stay as long as you want).

Each daily integration practice will take 10-20 minutes.

Each chakra integration practice will take as long as it takes depending on how much you've been avoiding in your life ;)

When will I have access to the recordings of each daily practice?

The recordings will be uploaded to your online portal immediately after practice.

What if I don’t get anything out of it?

If you show up for 40 days, the system works. The practices release stored energy, increase emotional capacity, rebuild self-trust, and reconnect you with your internal guidance, no matter where you’re starting. The only way this doesn’t work is if you don’t press play.

Is there community support?

Yes. You’ll join a WhatsApp group for support, accountability, and connection with others on the same journey.

Give yourself 40 days of devotion.

40 days of clearing.

40 days of making space for the life you are calling in.

This is the simplest, most grounded way to begin the new year. Not by force, but by alignment with nature, with your body, and with your Self.
